Visit our Farm in the Cascade Foothills

Our farm is located in the McKenzie River valley, east of the Eugene/Springfield metro area. At about 750ft elevation, we get far more sun and far less fog than the Willamette Valley. For many of our crops, the cooler nights in the summer and fall bring out extra sweetness and flavor. Extra sunshine makes our farm the place to be, for crops and humans alike!

While the sunshine is lovely, the true joy of our farm is in our soils. Over millennia, the McKenzie river and nearby volcanos have deposited ash and river alluvium in the section of the valley that we farm, creating incomparably beautiful silty and sandy loam soils.

And where sun meets soil on our farm, there is abundance.

We invite you to come out to the farm to experience it!

U-Pick Berries

During the farmstand season we have U-pick berries on our farm!

In 2024 we will have blueberry U-pick available.

Things to bring U-picking:

  • Boots! It is Oregon and sometimes there's mud, and a few stinging nettles.

  • Boxes to take berries home in

  • Friends, family, kids and taste buds

  • Blanket and picnic basket

  • Camera

  • PLEASE leave your dogs at home, they will not be able to join you in the U-pick fields!!

While you're up here...

Being above the fog on many days we always encourage folks in the the Eugene/Springfield area to take a short drive up the McKenzie to taste the mountain sunshine.

You can visit our farm and see all that the great McKenzie Valley has to offer. Nearby we have some of the best driftboat fishing in the country, river rafting, ski areas, hot springs, high country trails, waterfalls, and so much more.

Our favorite spot, McKenzie River Trail, is located a bit further up the valley and winds along the upper McKenzie, meandering through the lava fields.

We adore this river valley, and hope you take some time to explore it, too!
