Meet the Staff: Andie

This week, we get to hear from Andie, a member of our field crew and our market manager!

I am from Sonoma County California! I moved to Eugene in 2022, got hired in our farm stand in 2024, then worked in the field. Now I manage our farmers markets and work in the field!

What brought me to the farm was a search for a better work place. I was looking for a place that I could love, and where I could learn. We spend so much of our time at work - why be somewhere that drags you down? When I got this job, it was exactly what I was looking for. Good people, good work, good vibes only.✨️ And there's always something new to learn!

This season I'm most looking forward to having a rockin' crew! We have almost everyone coming back for another year and many have taken on new positions like CSA manager and water irrigation manager, so everyone's coming back with confidence in what we are doing and confidence in these new positions! A very exciting time!

Outside of work I'm pretty passionate about being in the moment and being with friends/family. I try to take up the day with as much (or as little) as I'm feeling. I love the quote, "Be here now," and I've been really trying to lean into that. Yes there's stuff going on later, but if that's all we're thinking about, then we will never be fully present in the now! So I'm focusing on doing that, and sending letters to all my family/ friends back home! Everyone loves getting stuff in the mail💌
